About The Board Division

The Board Division builds premium cutting boards and butcher blocks, made in Australia and based in Colac, Victoria.

Backed by years of real mill experience machining, grading, and drying hardwood, each board is built with a focus on proper timber selection and working to the right moisture before glue-up — the part most people get wrong. That’s what keeps them stable and built to last.

Each board is made individually using select hardwoods, including Australian species like Blackwood and Tasmanian oak, along with imported and reclaimed timbers where they suit the build.

End grain boards are designed for durability and knife-friendliness, while long grain boards suit lighter use and serving.

No two boards are the same. Built for real use — in the kitchen, on the bench, or out at the barbecue.

Many are also made as gifts — wedding, housewarming, and milestone pieces built to be kept and used for years.

Custom work is available, along with a standard range of sizes.
